When thinking of taking your grill experience to the next level. Consider purchasing a Smoker. There are electric, propane, charcoal, ceramic, and offset smokers. Which one is the best? It is up to the user preference. Half the fun is learning and messing with the air vents, and temperature control. If you have Weber Kettle Grill you can use that as a smoker as well. The Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker has been the jewel of my outside kitchen. Nothing beats fall off the bone ribs, tender brisket that can be cut with a fork and melts in your mouth. Depending on the type of smoker you use it will limit to what kind of wood you can use. Some use the wood pellets, wood wheels that look like coasters, and wood chunks depending on the fuel source and technology. The Weber Smoker can use wood chunks with charcoal or just actual wood itself. Make sure to purchase a Chimney Starter to start your coals. You don’t want to have that lingering lighter fluid tainting your meat flavor. The Weber Smokers have a big support and many products and add-ons from the manufacturer and aftermarket that may make your smoking experience a lot better. For the money and for what I learned The Weber Smokey Mountain has been a great purchase that I recommend anyone who is considering getting into smoking food. Weber also has a 18 inch smaller Smoker. I preferred the 22 inch for more room to cook meat for family events.
